Everything DiSC Work of Leaders®
Work of Leaders provides a simple, 3-step process to help leaders reflect on how they approach the most fundamental work of leaders: Creating a Vision, building Alignment around that vision, and championing Execution of the vision. This program uses best-practice research to teach the process most effective leaders follow.
Course Description
Everything DiSC Work of Leaders helps individuals understand how their tendencies influence their effectiveness in specific leadership situations. It’s an opportunity for leaders at all levels of learning to reflect on how they approach each step of their work. In addition, Work of Leaders encourages reflection and discussion about the team and the organization.
Format
Classroom based: Five 60- to 90-minute modules presented over two days:
- Introduction
- Vision
- Alignment
- Execution
- Action Planning
Objectives
- Learn how the DiSC model forms their role of leader, discover their DiSC leadership style and priorities, learn about visioning, alignment, and execution
- Understand the behaviors that characterize each of the drivers of visioning, alignment, and execution and how they impact a leader’s effectiveness
- The importance of testing assumptions when creating a vision
- Provide insight and receive insight from peers regarding vision, alignment, and execution
- Recognize the priorities and tendencies based on their own DiSC style
- Explore how to play to one’s strengths and overcome challenges
- Identify strategies to develop preferred behaviors based on context-specific best practices
