Leaders need to empower others to achieve results.  This program takes an evidence-based approach to helping leaders become powerful, emotionally intelligent leaders by taking a coaching-based approach that gets the best out of people.  It addresses the interpersonal dynamics of coaching conversations essential for any coaching engagement to be effective.  When leaders develop their coaching skills, it has a positive impact on the overall emotional intelligence of their team and organization. 

Course Description

This program has been designed to support leaders develop a set of coaching skills they can use in their leadership of others.  Each module has been designed to be delivered with an interval of one week between each module. This interval is to allow program participants the opportunity to apply program content in the day-to-day leadership of their teams.

Format

Classroom of virtual based:  Four interactive modules, two hours each module:

  • Authenticity, Trust, and Active Listening
  • Neuroscience of a Coaching Experience and Coaching Skills
  • Empathy and Insight
  • How to be Behaviorally Agile When Coaching

Objectives

  • Develop a coaching mindset for managing and developing their teams
  • Use self-awareness and active listening to be truly ‘present’
  • Guide conversations toward actions and commitment
  • Adjust coaching approaches according to context
  • Provide effective feedback with care
  • Implement a coaching conversation framework
  • Ask powerful questions to facilitate insight
