The Science of Well Being
Designed to help employees at all levels improve their mental, physical, social, and environmental well-being. The Science of Well-Being is built on the science of behavior change and healthy habit formation. This for module program will result in lower levels of stress, stress-related leave claims, and absenteeism as well as higher levels of productivity and employee engagement.
Course Description
This program explores what makes a workplace psychologically safe and supports program participants in playing an active role in enhancing the psychological safety of their workplace. The program contains a large practical component and to get the best out of the program, participants should be supported and actively encouraged to participate in all program activities.
Format
Classroom based: Four interactive modules, two hours each module:
- The Science of Enhancing Well Being
- Improving Well Being with Physical and Environmental Strategies
- Improving Well Being with Thinking Strategies
- Improving Well Being with Social Strategies
Objectives
- Learn how to use self-awareness to gauge one’s own well-being
- Determine how to make new strategies stick, using action plans built around the science of behavior change
- Reduce stress and enhance vitality
- Inspire attendees to explore their own well-being needs
- Improve the way participants think, feel, and behave with three effective thinking strategies
- Explore techniques to improve day-to-day social interactions, create a stronger sense of belonging, and foster more meaningful and positive relationship with others

The Genos Emotional Intelligence Workplace Behavior Self Report
